Atos subsidiary and e-payments company Worldline has partnered with ecommerce firm customweb to connect Sips, Worldline’s e-payment service, with open-source ecommerce software.

The new partners said Worldline will use customweb’s expertise in payment plugins to give merchants the ability to install the Sips payment gateway on their own ecommerce websites.

Ecommerce specialist customweb focuses on the development of payment plug-ins for open-source ecommerce software.

Software customweb has worked with before includes Magento, PrestaShop and WooCommerce. The company also deploys its payment platform, sellxed, to integrate credit cards, debit cards and other payment methods with shopping carts on merchant websites.
