Wirecard and Malaysian retailer Berjaya have expanded digital cross-border loyalty programme, B Infinite, to Singapore and Philippines.
The partners initially launched B Infinite in 2016 in Malaysia. The programme will roll out in Singapore this week. Furthermore it will launch in the Philippines in the second quarter of next year.
B Infinite loyalty programme enables consumers to earn and pay using loyalty points or with Masterpass card-on-file functionality.
Wirecard plans to deploy the programmes across various countries and currencies. In addition, users will be able to redeem their digital points or vouchers wherever B Infinite is available. This is irrespective of the original issuance.
The B Infinite loyalty programme will offer additional privileges, discounts and rewards based on usage.
Wirecard executive vice-president of value-added services Jörn Leogrande said: “We are delighted to be continuously expanding our collaboration with Berjaya and bringing B Infinite to more and more countries in Asia, a region which has emerged as an area for not only much economic development generally, but also the digital revolution that is sweeping through the globe.”
