Payments solutions provider Westpay has inked an agreement with cash handling company Loomis to offer digital payment solutions.

Under the four-year agreement, Westpay will offer Loomis payment solutions for cashless on-site transactions.

The payment solutions will be supported by Westpay’s Android-based payment terminals.

Known as Carbon, the terminal range was introduced in November last year.

Initially, the payment solutions will be available in Finland and Sweden. Plans are on for a broader roll-out in Europe later.

Commenting on the tie-up, Westpay CEO Sten Karlsson said: “The partnership allows us to reach new markets, and will enable Loomis’ customers to benefit from unified and improved management of payments, regardless if its cash or cashless.”
