American banking major Wells Fargo has launched a new cashback programme for eligible debit or credit card consumers.
The lender has launched ‘My Wells Fargo Deals’, a programme offering cashback to cardholders while shopping at merchants worldwide.
Customers can access the programme via Wells Fargo online banking or mobile app, and activate the cashback deals.
The deals from US merchants will be available to customers based on their purchase history. The deals are sourced by Cardlytics and American Express.
Customers with an American Express-Wells Fargo credit card will get exclusive access to additional offers through the “Amex Offers” section.
Wells Fargo head of Loyalty Solutions for cards, retail, and merchant services Sarah Phelps said: “My Wells Fargo Deals provides our customers a trusted and convenient way to earn cashback by shopping at many of their favourite local and national merchants.
“Customers can take advantage of deals by simply activating an offer, without having to hunt online for a coupon code.
“Then, when they shop at the merchant and meet the requirements of the offer, the cashback is credited to the account associated with the card.”
The new programme adds to the lender’s existing Go Far Rewards credit card rewards programme.
