Visa has signed a deal with the
James Beard Foundation, a US not-for-profit organisation which
supports the food industry, to become the preferred payment method
for all of its culinary events.

In addition, the 2010 James Beard
Awards, will be presented in association with Visa.

Founded in 1986 the James Beard Foundation
offers scholarships to culinary students, invites chefs to
participate in events at the James Beard House in New York and
organises international events for people to sample US cuisine.
