US-based Comerica Bank has signed an agreement with Vantiv, a payment processing services and related technology provider, to offer payment processing solutions for the bank’s merchant services customers.
National Bank Card Services senior vice president Albert Taylor said: "Comerica made the decision to engage a new partner with the needs of our Merchant Services customers foremost in mind.

Comerica’s Merchant Services allows merchants to accept card payments from their customers to help boost revenue and reduce operating cost.
The banks believe that current and future Comerica customers will benefit from modern products, value-added services, and 24/7 customer service.
Vantiv said that its advanced security products and reporting tools will offer merchants improved security and information to assist them to operate their businesses more securely, efficiently and effectively.
