Unlimit has announced the expansion of Stable.com into the Polygon Open Money Stack. The integration enables businesses and individual users to initiate bank transfers directly from self-custody wallets on the Polygon network using USDT and PayPal USD (PYUSD).
Under the new setup, transactions can be executed in the sender’s own name without requiring users to deposit their stablecoins into a custodial platform account.

Standard stablecoin-to-fiat off-ramps typically require users to transfer balances to an intermediary platform to execute a payout. The Stable.com deployment on Polygon allows holders to “retain control” of their assets throughout the transfer process, Unlimit said in a statement.
Polygon Labs CEO Marc Boiron said: “People should not have to surrender control of their assets simply because they want to send money to a bank account.
“Stable.com gives USDT and PYUSD holders a direct route from their Polygon wallets to the payment systems people already use. This is the connection between onchain money and everyday financial services that Polygon Open Money Stack was built to support.”
Stable.com operates as Unlimit’s financial platform. It provides a single global account with local banking details, multi-currency balance management, payment cards, treasury tools, and access to tokenised assets and decentralised finance protocols across multiple networks.
The partnership links Polygon-based stablecoins directly to Unlimit’s payment infrastructure, which spans more than 180 countries and supports payouts in over 150 currencies.
Polygon Open Money Stack combines blockchain settlement, fiat on- and off-ramps, embedded wallets, and cross-chain routing. Polygon has processed more than eight billion cumulative transactions.
Unlimit founder and CEO Kirill Eves said: “The future of finance will not be divided between traditional and digital systems.
“People and businesses will expect money to move freely across currencies, accounts and blockchain networks without having to navigate the infrastructure behind them. Adding Polygon advances our vision for Stable.com: one place to manage money, regardless of the currency, asset or network underneath it.”
