UAE Exchange, a money transfer and foreign exchange, has entered into a deal with Philippines-based BDO Unibank to offer its instant bank transfer service FLASHremit to the bank customers in Philippines.

FLASHremit will allow customers to send money to any bank account across borders, in real-time with both the sender and the beneficiary receiving an SMS notification the moment the account is credited.

The real-time remittance service, which caters to countries including Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, will also serve Asia United Bank, Metro Bank and Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation in Philippines.

UAE Exchange vice president of global operations Promoth Manghat said: "The Filipinos form one of the largest expat communities living abroad, and by offering various financial solutions, we attempt to make their stay outside homeland as comfortable as possible.

"We have been organizing various promotions like Pinoy Panalo, Filipino Fest and Money Majlis for this dynamic community. Providing instant bank transfer services will not only strengthen the relationship with our banking partner, but also be a welcome initiative for our Filipino customers."
