Telecom of Thailand (TOT) is set to move into the mobile payments market with the launch of its new NFC-based mobile payment service, called Just Pay, in 2014.

Just Pay mobile wallet will include an NFC reader and mobile app for storing payment cards and loyalty offers.

TOT will also introduce a tablet-based mobile point-of-sale (POS) device, and a web-based customer relationship management system for managing inventory, tracking customer transactions and running rewards programmes, reported Finextra.

The tablet-based point-of-sale device with a real-time link to a back-end web-based CRM system is intended for retailers to enable them to alter their inventory and present special offers to customers’ on the move.
