Swedbank and NCR have extended their partnership, in a move that will see NCR provide new ATM software to the bank across the Baltics.

NCR, a partner of the Baltic lender for the last 20 years, will also work with Hansab to upgrade over 150 of Swedbank’s older NCR ATMs with the latest NCR SelfServ 22, 25 and 31 units and cash-recycling capabilities.

"To ensure that our multi-channel banking strategy delivers on this, we needed a highly integrated software and hardware solution. We have partnered with NCR for more than 20 years, so they are tuned in to our business and provide the high value solutions that turn our strategy into a reality."

NCR will provide Swedbank with its APTRA Edge software, allowing the lender to roll out ATM applications across its NCR ATM network in 206 branches across Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
