Hawaii-based payment processor Super Processor has selected TAS USA, a unit of payments technology provider TAS Group, for its end-to-end cloud-ready card payments platform CARD 3.0 I.E.

With the payments platform, Super Processor intends to manage merchant onboarding, merchant accounts, transaction processing along with physical and e-commerce POS.

The platform is also expected to enable the processor to handle authorisations, clearing, disputes, card lifecycle management, transaction processing, fraud detection and 3DS2 (ACS).

TAS USA managing director Peter Caiazzi said: “We see this as the start of a long-term strategic partnership that will allow Super Processor to quickly grow both the issuing and acquiring sides of the business.

“CARD 3.0 IE solution, deployed through the Cloud, enables our customers to better manage their infrastructures, save on costs, increase speed to market and improve service levels.”

The partnership with TAS USA is said to be a key step in enabling Super Processor’s transformation from a payments services provider to a full processor.

From the first quarter of next year, the processor will issue and manage MasterCard credit cards on CARD 3.0 I.E.

The credit cards will be issued under the licence of MasterCard’s principal member Technicolor Federal Credit Union.

Super Processor CEO Michael Tsang said: “This relationship will enable us to bring forth many innovative products that banks, merchants and sales distribution channel partners have been seeking for many years.

“Deploying their CARD 3.0 IE solution through the Cloud will provide us unparalleled agility, speed and power to serve our customers at reduced costs.”
