Texas-based SmartHealth PayCard has launched its SmartHealth PayCard Mastercard credit card in the US, solely dedicated to healthcare purposes.
Designed to manage the burden of healthcare expenses, the card allows healthcare providers to be paid in full sans fees or payment plans while offering cardholders affordable payment choices.
A nationwide prescription savings programme, up to $5,000 Accidental Medical Expenses coverage and $5,000 Accidental Death Insurance are also extended to the clients.
SmartHealth PayCard co-founder Jeff Blankinship said: “Cardholders pay for health needs right away so they can live happier lives. And healthcare providers get paid on-time, so they can focus on treating patients instead of accounts receivable.”
SmartHealth PayCard can be used for co-pays, high deductibles, emergencies, mental health, dental, hearing, vision, prescriptions, among others.
Healthcare systems, which include this card in their business strategy, can add discounts to increase the business.
