Payment gateway provider Shift4 Corporation has collaborated with Microsoft value-added distributor Retail Realm to design a complete integration with Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Operations.

Under the partnership, Shift4’s Unified Commerce Payments solution will be available for retailers using Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Operations (formerly AX7) and Dynamics AX 2012.

The platform will provide retailers a flexibility to deploy an integrated payment solution across their entire enterprise — from storefronts to e-commerce, call center and fulfillment.

It will support credit, debit, gift card and private-label credit, and check verification services, providing out-of-the-box support for US and Canadian EMV, point-to-point encryption, contactless and tokenization.

Shift4 chief technology officer and co-founder JD Oder said: ‘We saw a need in the Dynamics space for a secure, omnichannel payment solution that works — reliably. Shift4 has the unified commerce expertise, unrivaled security and proven stability, and Retail Realm helped us integrate that into the Microsoft products, resulting in the only truly omnicommerce payment extension for Dynamics users.”
