NetCents Technology, a Canadian online payments processing platform, has inked an ISO/reseller agreement with Results by Design (RBD) to enable the roll out of its cryptocurrency payment platform across the globe.

RBD offers subject matter expertise, business process outsourcing and advisory services for firms in the payment space.

Under the new five-year agreement, RBD will facilitate the deployment of the NetCents platform to financial institutions, merchant acquirers as well as card issuers.

NetCents also believes that its customer acquisition, distribution and revenue model will be complimented by RBD’s experience in merchant acquiring, payment technology and card-issuing.

RBD president Don Sieb and consultant Eric Turille will now have seats on NetCents’ advisory board.

At the same time, NetCents added business development manager Sharon Predes and senior partner Jim Troy to the advisory board.

NetCents CEO Clayton Moore said: “We couldn’t be more excited to be working with RBD and adding such experienced payments executives to our Advisory Board who have decades of experience working with some of the largest companies in the payments and financial services industry.

“As we continue to roll out our technology and platform, this partnership validates our vision of being a disruptive player in the payment processing industry.”

The latest move comes three months after NetCents’ announcement to expand its merchant reach to more than 60 countries.

The countries include North America, England, Caribbean, South America, Australia, China, European Union, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, South Africa, Thailand, Philippines, Turkey, and Vietnam.
