RegaloCard has added Latin American retailer
Unicomer to its mobile payments network, further strengthening its
presence in the region.

The network allows consumers to instantly send
free “micro money transfers” from their mobile phones for as little
as $10.

RegaloCard is a prepaid gift card that
immigrants can buy in the United States, but is delivered instantly
to the person chosen in the immigrant’s home country, to make
purchases at leading local retailers.

“Unicomer Group is the retailer to go to in
Central America to purchase a wide range of leading consumer
products that our clients here in the US would like to send their
friends and families back home,” said Gregory Keough, chairman and
CEO of RegaloCard.

“With RegaloCard consumers can send their
micro money transfer instantly with and allow their family back
home to purchase almost anything they may need, this is great news
for consumers.”

Unicomer’s La Curacao stores of Central
America, Almacenes Tropigas and Loco Luis have over 300 retail
locations spanning Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, the Dominican
Republic, Nicaragua and Costa Rica.
