E-commerce company Rakuten In Store Network has formed an alliance to boost card-linked rewards programme of GasBuddy by providing new offers.

The rewards programme currently offers GasBack, which is free money for gas, on online card transactions.

As part of the latest partnership, users can earn GasBack and redeem the rewards at 95% of gas stations in the US using the Pay with GasBuddy programme. The offer will be available during in-store transactions at more than 30,000 retailers across the US.

Rakuten In Store Network general manager Erin Warren said: “Our platform is valuable to third-party publishers like GasBuddy as it provides enormous value to their existing rewards programme through just one card-linked offer system rather than tediously managing multiple systems and processes. Merchants also benefit from increased store visits and access to a new source of new customers.”

Rakuten In Store Network supports the card-linked offers of its parent firm Rakuten.

The company offers digital channels for merchants to boost sales, in-store traffic and customer loyalty. Also, publishers can enhance engagement with card-linked offers at over 30,000 locations.
