Qatar National Bank (QNB) has forged a partnership with payments giant Mastercard to launch the first metal-hybrid metal credit card in Qatar.

This card is said to be exclusive within the Mastercard product suite.

Dubbed as Mastercard World Elite Exclusive, the card will be available to the private banking customers of QNB on an invitation-only basis.

It offers a suite of lifestyle privileges via boutique lifestyle management company Louis Fourteen.

This is said to include access to personalised lifestyle management services, unique rewards, reduced waiting time at “most coveted” restaurants in the world, and private dining experiences with “renowned Michelin-star chefs”.

Cardholders can also locate, source, and deliver luxury items at “world’s most celebrated retail establishments”, noted the bank.

Mastercard Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq and Oman country manager Nadia Ghissassi said: “The GCC is home to a growing affluent market, with consumers increasingly seeking new tailormade, exclusive and curated lifestyle experiences.

“A first for Qatar, the QNB Mastercard World Elite Exclusive caters to these evolving needs, giving cardholders a host of unparalleled benefits and unmatched experiences.”

QNB’s latest offering combines the latest technology and security in the global payments space, including contactless payment.

The banking group has presence in over 31 countries. It employs over 28,000 people serving 20 million customers through 1,000 locations, with more than 4,300 ATM machines.

QNB Group general manager of asset & wealth management Adel Khashabi said: “We pride ourselves on being the first bank in Qatar to offer this card to selected customers through our strategic partnership with Mastercard.

“The launch of QNB’s Mastercard World Elite Exclusive metal-hybrid credit card is another testament to our customer-centric approach and market-leading offerings.”
