Pulse iD to offer spend-based merchant offers to Visa cardholders

Hong Kong-based fintech firm Pulse iD has forged a strategic partnership with Visa to roll out intelligent loyalty and merchant offers in Asia Pacific (APAC) region.

Under this partnership, Pulse iD will leverage its ‘Catalyst’ platform to power the Visa Offers Exchange (VOX) marketplace.

VOX is Visa’s latest customer engagement solution that helps merchants grow their sales via promotions.

The marketplace provides Visa cardholders with merchant offers based on their spending behaviour, in a timely fashion.

It also allows financial institutions to boost their offerings to Visa cardholders.

VOX marketplace merchants leverage insights derived by Visa to create customised offers for boosting their customer base or rewarding loyal customers.

The VisaNet data and analytical models help capture the spending data of the consumers.

By linking their Visa card, they can start receiving personalised offers and promotions, which are then paid for with the same card to receive a cashback.

Visa will progressively roll out VOX across all its markets in the APAC region.
