Prodigy, a credit union service organization (CUSO) in the US, has teamed up CPI Card Group to enable credit unions to instantly issue EMV-enabled payment cards.
Under the terms of the agreement, the ‘Card@Once’ instant issuance solution of CPI Card Group will be integrated with Prodigy’s core system.

This integration will enable the credit unions served by Prodigy to install print and issue EMV-enabled payment cards for their onsite branch members.
The credit unions will have access to an end-to-end printing solution website to help manage member requests for new and replacement cards.
The Card@Once instant issuance solution will complement Prodigy’s cloud-based core processing platform capabilities.
CPI SVP of prepaid, personalisation solutions and instant issuance Lane Dubin said: “Through this integration, branches are able to print a card using a Card@Once printer through the Prodigy system and immediately provide a new or replacement card to customers during a brief visit.”
