Planet Payment renews multi-currency processing agreement with Global Payments

Planet Payment, a provider multi-currency credit payment processing services, has extended its worldwide multi-currency processing agreement with Global Payments, a provider of payment technology services, for five years.

As part of the extended deal, both the companies will work together to launch HomeCurrencyPay, a Global Payments’ dynamic currency conversion solution.

HomeCurrencyPay will be rolled out in existing markets with plans to expand into several new countries.

Using HomeCurrencyPay, which is currently available in thirteen markets across Asia Pacific and North America, customers know what they are paying in their home currency in addition to reducing the processing costs incurred on these transactions for merchants.

Global Payments president and COO David Mangum said: "We believe our partnership with Planet Payment for HomeCurrencyPay has delivered a superior processing solution that allows our merchants to deliver enhanced customer service while reducing the cost of card acceptance."
