PharmEasy, a digital pharmacy and health care platform, has entered into a partnership with Amazon India to enable digital payments.

The move will enable PharmEasy users to make payments for their purchases using the Amazon Pay wallet, expediting the check-out process.

The collaboration will allow customers to buy medicines, healthcare products and book a lab test. They will also be eligible for other benefits with their Amazon Pay balance.

Amazon Pay India Experience and Merchant Acceptance director Manesh Mahatme was quoted by Livemint as saying: “This partnership with PharmEasy comes at a time when along with ensuring safe digital transactions, we are also looking out for the wellbeing of our customers.

“They will now be able to transact using their Amazon Pay Wallet in a contactless manner while maintaining all the safety and sanitation norms.”

PharmEasy allows customers to buy medicines online from registered retail pharmacies and get them delivered at home.
