London based prepaid solutions provider Prepaid Financial Services (PFS) is to launch a Pocket to Pocket mobile application for Apple devices.

The MasterCard partner’s app is freely available to all PFS cardholders and allows them to check their balance, review transactions and load their prepaid card with a pre-registered debit or credit card.

Pocket to Pocket also has a built in Payzone and ATM finder, allowing users to find the nearest location to top-up or withdraw funds from their mobile wallet.

Additional features will be added in the next update of the app; users will be able to create virtual cards for online shopping and make payments to other PFS cardholders.

Chief executive at PFS Noel Moran said: "Mobile wallets are constantly evolving as are cardholders and the way that they transact. The Pocket to Pocket App is quick, convenient, secure and easy to use. Users can send and receive money in seconds, without having to enter any card details and the ability to create virtual cards provides them with greater security for online shopping."

An Android version of the app will be released later this year.
