US-based Paychex has joined forces with global payments provider Elavon to launch a new suite of payment processing solutions to address the needs of small businesses.

According to Paychex, the new suite of payment processing solutions will include credit and debit card processing, mobile and online payment services, and POS solutions.

In addition to credit card processing, the Paychex solution will also allow business owners to electronically deposit cheques, offer gift cards, and earn revenue through dynamic currency conversion.

Through this fully integrated system, business owners will be able to accept multiple payment types, apply discounts, track inventory, and access detailed reports and analytics from their computer or iPad to manage their business.

Furthermore, Paychex will also offer a selection of EMV-enabled credit card terminals for accepting the new chip-based credit cards already in use worldwide, and making their way to the US.

Paychex president and CEO, Martin Mucci, said: "With the addition of payment processing services, we’re adding a single-provider payments solution to fulfill a need that’s critical to the success of many businesses.
