Virtual Piggy’s youth payment provider Oink has partnered with WorldPay US to align its service with the latter’s payment platform, in an effort to expand its strategic 2014 merchant acquisition plans within the teen market.
The partnership with Oink will add youth payments technology to the WorldPay merchant network and will facilitate integrations into teen focused retail websites and shops.
Following the move, Oink’s safe youth payments technology will be available to all of the 600,000 merchants who serve the teen market across 40 countries.
The WorldPay payment processing platform is used for in-person credit and debit transactions, online and mobile payments. Oink’s COPPA-compliant payment technology will allow retailers and game publishers to safely, legally and effectively reach under 21 year aged consumers.
Additionally, Oink’s COPPA-compliant payment will serve as a family wallet and is available online or through mobile.
WorldPay US president and CEO, Tony Catalfano, said: "Integrating Oink into our payment processing offerings is a great addition to the current services that WorldPay offers. We’re excited to work with Oink, bringing their COPPA-compliant solution to our clients worldwide and expanding their revenue opportunities within the teen market."
