Sri Lanka-based Nations Trust Bank has launched Nations Trust Bank American Express Travel Card in Sri Lanka.

The new prepaid card will enable customers of Nations Trust Bank travelling worldwide to overcome the hassle of carrying foreign currency and get value added benefits while travelling, reports Lanka Business Today.

The Nations Trust Bank American Express Travel Card is a US dollar Card with a fixed exchange rate. This safeguards cardholders from sudden and unexpected USD to LKR exchange rate fluctuations at all times.

The cardholders can utilise their card at merchant outlets and ATM locations across the world. Customers will be able to keep track of their finances on the travel card by accessing online banking facilities with Nations Trust Bank which include card statements and transaction details.

The cardholders are also provided with a backup card which can be activated and utilized immediately should the primary card be misplaced or stolen.
