National Pay, a Dubai-based provider of smart issuance solutions, has teamed up with MasterCard, Gemalto, Tuxedo and Atam Technologies, to launch its first smart issuance kiosk as well as a prepaid card called DubaiCard.

The DubaiCard can be issued instantly and activated from various National Pay Kiosks spread in UAE.
As part of a strategic plan, National Pay is planning to install 200 kiosks within Dubai in phase 1, with plans to later expand to the wider UAE and GCC.
With the National Pay Smart Issuance Kiosks, customers can apply for a MasterCard branded DubaiCard within minutes and receive a fully personalised, encoded and activated card with the security of chip and PIN technology.
Customers will be able to use the DubaiCard anywhere in the world where MasterCard is accepted in over 37 million locations and 2.1 million ATM’s worldwide.
