MasterCard, in association with Premier Bank Bangladesh, has introduced a reloadable Hajj Prepaid Card in the country aimed at pilgrims and Hajj Agencies.
The first-of-its-kind card in Bangladesh, the reloadable Hajj Prepaid Card is acceptable at any MasterCard ATM & POS at Saudi Arabia, and has a range of features including 100% cash withdrawal, zero issuance fee, and 24-hour customer service.

MasterCard South Asia area head Vikas Varma said, "This marks another important step in our efforts to expand the use of electronic payments among the people of Bangladesh. This product will enable MasterCard Hajj Prepaid cardholders to enjoy best in class privileges and make their payments securely and conveniently while participating in Hajj."
The reloadable card does not require a bank account or credit report, and enables users to carry government approved hajj travel quota amount on the card.
