Indonesia-based Bank Mandiri Persero has partnered with JCB International Indonesia to launch a new co-branded credit card in the country.

The new Mandiri-JCB Precious Credit Card will target premium segment, including online shoppers and travellers.

The newly launched co-branded credit card offers complimentary Wifi access and insurance protection for online payments.

Customers will also be able to avail Mandiri offers at more than 10,000 outlets and double their Mandiri Fiestapoin with all domestic transactions. Cardholders can also triple Mandiri Fiestapoin on international usage.

The Mandiri-JCB Precious Credit Card offers additional JCB benefits such as lounge service at JCB PLAZA and JCB PLAZA Lounge.

Furthermore, the Japanese card company provides more than 3,000 privileges and discounts on dining and shops globally.

As of November this year, Bank Mandiri has issued more than two million credit cards. The bank’s sales volume grew by 10% from the same period last year.

JCB International president and COO Kimihisa Imada added that the alliance will enable the partners to boost business in Indonesia.
