Karnataka Bank, a commercial bank based in India, has targeted its premium and high net worth individual (HNI) customers with the launch of a new international debit card.

Dubbed the ‘MoneyPlant RuPay International Platinum Debit Card’, the new offering can be used for domestic, as well as international cash withdrawal and shopping.

The cardholders can avail an enhanced withdrawal limit of INR75,000 ($1,152) and purchase  including POS/ecommerce limit of INR200,000 ($3,073) per day.

Additionally, the cardholders will get personal accident insurance coverage worth INR200,000, ($3,073) and two free lounge access per quarter at more than 30 airports in India and over 300 airports globally.

Cardholders can also enjoy fuel surcharge waiver, utility bill cash back offers and a number of other merchant offers.

Karnataka Bank managing director and CEO P Jayarama Bhat said: “The card, bundled with host of special features, will be offered to our customers as part of bank’s digital banking initiative.
