US-based iSend announced it has more than doubled its coverage in one year.
iSend provides cross-border consumer-to-business payments, enabling foreign immigrants in the US, Canada and the UK to pay bills and top up mobile phones in their country of origin.
Its C2B services are now available in 150,000 retail outlets across the US, Canada and the UK. They were some 60,000 in May 2011.
The firms said it has secured a number of partnerships with mobile carriers, bill payment processors, and retail chains that will enable its costumers to support family members in more than 65 countries, up from 30 countries last year.
Africa, Asia and the Middle East have been the main drivers of growth.
