Payments processor myPOS has joined forces with iDEAL, an e-commerce payment system used in the Netherlands.

iDEAL enables consumers to make payments for services by directly linking their bank account, given that the account is with a bank partnered with iDEAL. The system does not require registration.

Partnering up to give a more seamless iDEAL payment solution will enable customers to enjoy an overall better experience with banks.

Using iDEAL, consumers can automatically complete transactions in the bank environment after logging in with their online banking details. The system is said to address security woes and offer more convenience compared to manually typing credit card details.

Currently, myPOS clients in the Netherlands can integrate iDEAL into their online stores via myPOS APIs.

myPOS-supported marketplaces including WooCommerce, OpenCart, and Magento can also avail the solution.

myPOS CEO Christo Georgiev said: “The goal of myPOS is to provide an all-in-one solution for small and medium businesses, for both their physical and online storefronts.

“As such we will continue to work hard and add new features on both fronts, to benefit both our clients and their customers.”

The latest move is said to form a “big part” of Georgiev’s strategy for the firm’s future.
