International altcoin and Bitcoin payment processor GoCoin has announced a new partnership with Apriva, a payment processing solutions company, to provide altcoin and Bitcoin payment options to Apriva’s more than 1,000 channel partners.

The partnership will not immediately bring altcoin and Bitcoin payments to those companies, but it does reduce the friction necessary to accomplish increased merchant acceptance, reports CryptoCoinsNews.

GoCoin CEO Steve Beauregard explained that partnering with Apriva will enable them to offer altcoin and Bitcoin payments to a wide variety of companies who may never have considered accepting cryptocurrency as a payment option.

"As the payments industry evolves, we want to empower merchants by giving their consumers the option to use the latest payment forms for their purchases. Our partnership will enable Apriva’s resellers and ISVs to provide their merchants the most comprehensive selection of payment options offered today."

Apriva CEO Chris Spinella says the choice to partner with GoCoin was a natural result of increased consumer demand. By adding cryptocurrency support, Apriva believes they will set themselves apart from other payment processing solutions providers.
