Fintech solutions provider Fiserv has completed a successful pilot with Florida-based VyStar Credit Union to provide card-free access to cash at participating ATMs with CardFree Cash from Fiserv.

In case of lost, stolen, breached debit card, or for cards left at home, members will be able to withdraw cash by making use of a secure access code and PIN at a participating ATM.
In order to ensure additional security, VyStar Credit Union can also set withdrawal limits, number of transactions allowed and length of time the access code can be used by each member.
The card-free cash withdrawals in the pilot have been conducted at acquiring partner Payment Alliance International’s participating ATMs and completed over the Accel debit payments network.
VyStar Credit Union vice president of electronic payments and card services Melissa Thomas said: "Member convenience is a key component of our overall payments strategy. With CardFree Cash, our members can securely access funds from an ATM immediately without their debit card regardless of the reason they don’t have it with them."
