Fiserv, a provider of financial services technology solutions, has introduced a new offering called The Card Collection for chip cards.

The new solution will enable financial institutions to use the Fiserv standard chip card configurations to simplify the transition to EMV chip-enabled cards.

With this solution, financial institutions can select from many pre-approved Fiserv’s cards designs that include both a magnetic stripe and a chip.

The new offering will allow Fiserv’s clients to simplify the transition to EMV chip-enabled cards by providing an integrated, compliant and cost effective path to EMV debit and credit card issuance.

The company has already partnered with Visa and MasterCard to develop standard EMV chip card configurations for debit and credit card programs.

Both the credit and debit cards will be available on the Visa or MasterCard payment platforms, Fiserv said.

In addition, clients can also use The Card Collection pre-approved plastic designs and streamlined testing for attaining cost and time savings associated with developing, certifying and testing a new custom program.

Fiserv said that the new solution offers cost and implementation time savings to financial institutions with no minimum orders, no creative costs, no upfront inventory costs or risk of chips expiring and no management of card personalization keys.
