Fiserv, a US-based financial services technology solutions provider, has enhanced its flagship CheckFree RXP electronic bill payment service by adding gamification techniques.
The addition of three elements, progress bar, tutorial elements and a gradual introduction of advanced capabilities is expected to increase the use of electronic bill payment among online banking customers.

CheckFree RXP will be allow financial institutions increase the value of member relationships and realize efficiencies by offering members a complete electronic bill payment experience.
Fiserv electronic payments division president, Tom Allanson, said: "Adapting Gamification principles to financial services and incorporating them into electronic bill payment initiate an intuitive experience that makes the service more compelling to new users, and has significant potential to increase adoption and use of bill pay via online banking."
