Emirates Skywards, the frequent flyer programme of Emirates Airline and flydubai, has teamed up with the Saudi British Bank (SABB) and Visa to roll out a co-branded credit card in Saudi Arabia.

The new offering, SABB Emirates Visa Signature Credit Card, enables cardholders to earn Skywards Miles whilst availing a number of benefits both in Saudi Arabia and overseas.

The card-owners can earn Skywards Miles on all their expenses, with a higher Skywards Miles earning rate on Emirates spends as well as foreign currency transactions.

The cardholders will get complimentary Emirates Skywards Silver status for a period of one year if they spend at least SAR1,500 ($399.3) in a single transaction with Emirates.

Users can earn 10,000 bonus Skywards Miles on a minimum spend of SAR10,000 ($2,662.64) within the first three months. The cardholders will not be charged any fee in the first year.

Additionally, customers will get free, unlimited access to more than 1,000 lounges across the globe through LoungeKey besides availing priority check-in when flying Emirates from airports in Saudi Arabia
