India-based Dhanlaxmi Bank is to roll out ATM
switching and transaction processing solutions from FIS.

The deal is part of the bank’s drive to
improve services to account holders.

The FIS solution includes card management and
authorisation, gateway services and ATM driving.

It enables Dhanlaxmi Bank accountholders to
perform transactions with their debit cards seven days a week, 24
hours a day.

Anand Gupta, executive vice president and head
of Alternate Channels at Dhanlaxmi Bank, said:

 “Our selection of FIS has proven to be
beneficial for Dhanlaxmi Bank, as we have seen tangible results and
improved service levels at a lower cost to the bank.”

Dhanlaxmi Bank also plan to use FIS’s solution
to launch Verified by Visa, a mobile banking interface and credit
card interface in the future
