Datacard Group and Dynamic Card Solutions have
joined forces to become the industry-leader for instant card
issuance solutions.
Datacard Group, a card personalisation
business, has acquired Dynamic Card Solutions (DCS), a world
leader in instant issuance software for financial card
programs thruogh its CardWizard software.

“This acquisition creates an industry-leading
source for instant card issuance solutions,” said Todd Wilkinson,
president and CEO of Datacard Group. “Together, the two companies
have more than 30,000 successful instant issuance installations.
It’s a powerful combination.”
The combined expertise targets card marketing
and operations executives looking for innovative ways to drive
revenue and profitability in their card programs.
“We now have a combined portfolio of unique
technologies that allows us to accelerate innovation, bring
solutions to market on a global basis and capitalize on that
opportunity,” said Ron Zanotti, senior vice president of DCS.
The technology allows banks, credit unions and
retailers to issue financial cards within minutes and can also
increase card activation rates.
Datacard systems are used to personalize
financial cards. DCS has deployed CardWizard software in more than
5,500 bank and retail locations, primarily in the United
States.
