E-invoicing services provider Crossgate Inc
will allow SAP customers in Mexico access to its
invoicing solutions in a bid to bring accuracy to the
system.

The move is a reponse to Mexico’s e-invoicing
regulations, which dismiss invalid e-invoices as illegal, resulting
in possible jail time.

Under the new system, the data is
automatically validated by the integrated inbound e-invoicing
service.

“Many companies don’t understand that just a
small inaccuracy in the invoice can cause it to be rejected by the
Mexican government,” said Scott Lewin, president of Crossgate
Inc.

“With Crossgate’s solution, companies
instantly know whether the invoice is out of compliance. This
allows a company to rectify the problem immediately and before any
legal issues occur.”

The inbound solution adds to
Crossgate’s existing outbound e-Invoicing service in the
country.
