Australian tour operator Creative Holidays has teamed up with WEX, a provider of corporate and prepaid payment solutions, to allow customers to pay with virtual cards.

Paul McGrath, managing director of Creative Holidays, said: "Adopting a single-use virtual card solution benefits our accommodation partners by ensuring guaranteed and faster settlements in multiple currencies, and by making it easier for them to match reservations against payment."

Creative Holidays, a brand of The Travel Corporation, now joins Holiday Horizons and Brendan Tours, also Travel Corporation brands, in using WEX’s virtual card.

Wright Express Australia interim managing director Asia Pacific Greg Drumm said he was delighted The Travel Corporation had chosen WEX’s pioneering and proven technology to enhance its international and domestic payment processes.

Creative Holidays, a holiday wholesaler, offers airfares, hotel accommodation, and tours in 58 countries and WEX provide payment solutions to over 7.4m card holders.
