CosmoLex, a provider of cloud-based law practice management software, has added credit card processing capability through integration with LawPay.

The new feature will enable users to accept credit card and online payments for trust retainers, advance fee payments, as well as ongoing invoice payments.
According to CosmoLex CEO Rick Kabra, the new alliance with LawPay will eliminate the bookkeeping issues previously associated with legal credit card processing, among other benefits.
Kabra added: "Credit card processing has always been an error prone process for law firms, based on the need to enter the information into multiple systems.
"CosmoLex’s new integration with LawPay automates the process and reduces the time your firm needs to spend accounting for credit card payments."
