Citi Retail Services has signed an agreement with American Honda Motor Corp to provide a private label credit card programme to Honda’s Powersports dealer network across the US.

The long term partnership is reportedly Citi Retail Services’ second programme with Honda, after the recent announcement of the collaboration with Honda Power Equipment.

American Honda Motor vice president of motorcycle division Chuck Boderman said: “This new agreement with Citi Retail Services will help Honda dealers offer value to our customers with a programme for financing Honda’s motorcycles, scooters, ATVs, Side-by-Sides, parts and accessories.

“We look forward to working with Citi Retail Services to offer value and convenience of the Honda Card to our dealers and satisfying our customers.”

Citi Retail Services head Craig Vallorano said: “Following our recent agreement with Honda Power Equipment, we are excited to expand our partnership to offer industry-leading financing options to customers of American Honda Motor Corp.

Citi has nearly 200 million customer accounts and conducts business in over 160 countries and jurisdictions by offering consumer banking and credit, corporate and investment banking, securities brokerage, transaction services, and wealth management services.
