Indonesia-based Bank CIMB Niaga has partnered with AccorHotels and Mastercard to offer a co-branded credit card for its customers.

Dubbed CIMB Niaga Le Club AccorHotels Card, the new product comes in Platinum and World variants targeting dynamic customers and frequent travellers, respectively.

The card offers multiple lifestyle benefits for travellers, along with transaction convenience at AccorHotels network of around 4,600 properties across more than 100 countries.

All purchases made with the card will earn reward points, and cardholders will be able to exchange the points for free AccorHotels stays in Asia Pacific.

CIMB Niaga Le Club AccorHotels Card additionally comes with bonuses, exclusive offers and access to AccorHotels events as well as travel privileges such as free access to the airport lounge.

Furthermore, customers using the World variant can fast-track to Silver status membership for AccorHotels’ hotel, dining and lifestyle programme called Accor Plus.

Mastercard division president for Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunei Safdar Khan said: “We help partners deepen their understanding of customers’ lifestyle preferences and spending trends, so they can offer rewards that are personal and relevant to individual cardholder needs.

“As Indonesians increasingly go digital and embrace digital payments, they can look forward to richer experiences with their CIMB Niaga Le Club AccorHotels Card.”

CIMB Niaga director of Consumer Banking Lani Darmawan noted that the partnership with AccorHotels and Mastercard can maximise the potential for credit card business in the hospitality sector.

Lani added: “This partnership provides added value for card holders by combining various promotions and advantages from each company.”

In November last year, CIMB Niaga partnered with JCB International on a co-branded credit card designed specifically for women in Indonesia.
