Chase Card Services has partnered with Avios Group (AGL) to launch Iberia Visa Signature Card in the US, which will be followed by the Aer Lingus Visa Signature Card over the coming months.

Both the credit cards come with travels benefits on bookings of various airlines, including Aer Lingus, Ireland; Iberia and LEVEL, Spain; British Airways; and OpenSkies, France.

The benefits will be provided as Avios, which are reward points offered by Avios Group. In this case, the points will be added when customers travel from the US to European destinations.

Cardmembers can also earn such rewards on other purchases as well. All the earned Avios can in turn be used to pay for flights, hotels, car hire, travel insurance or leisure.

Aer Lingus chief operating officer Mike Rutter said: “Our partnership with Chase allows us to offer rich rewards through the Aer Lingus Visa Signature Card on flights from our 13 North American gateways to Ireland, the UK and Europe, as well as through our partners.

“More guests will be able experience our award-winning service, while getting access to incredible destinations.”
