Certify and Western Union have entered into a partnership that will offer mass international business payment capabilities for Certify’s expense and invoice clients operating outside the US.

Certify is a US-based provider of automated travel and entertainment expense management software.

Using Western Union’s payments network, Certify will now enable mutual customers to remit employee expense reimbursements and vendor payments directly to employees’ bank accounts in a range of currencies for both domestic and foreign transactions.

The new facility, dubbed Certify Payments, is powered by the Western Union Mass Payments API (Application Programming Interface). It is capable of processing electronic direct to bank payments in 45 currencies.

The new service is currently available for all mutual Certify-Western Union customers.

Certify CEO Robert Neveu said: “Working with a respected leader like Western Union is the next leap forward for Certify as a worldwide provider of premier automated business expense and payment management solutions.
