Brex partners Ascenda to enhance rewards programme

Brex, a corporate credit card issuer, has partnered with loyalty solutions provider Ascenda to  increase the value of its rewards offering.

Beside the statement credit and rewards points travel booking it previously offered, Brex has adding the third redemption option.

Brex cardholders can now redeem their rewards points for airline miles in six travel loyalty programmes.

The associated travel partners represent flagship carriers across three major global airline loyalty alliances- Oneworld, SkyTeam, and Star Alliance.

Brex co-founder and co-CEO Henrique Dubugras said: “The launch of the points transfer capability is a testament to Brex’s ongoing commitment to make its rewards offering the most valuable in the marketplace.

“This was the most-requested enhancement to Brex rewards by our existing customers, so we’re thrilled to be able to deliver on our promise of continued improvement and innovation.”

Ascenda CEO Kyle Armstrong said: “We are delighted to enable Brex customers to unlock extraordinary travel moments with their corporate card.

“For customers who travel globally, the value of being able to exchange Brex rewards points into airline miles is unmatched.

“We are proud to partner with Brex’s unique rewards program to design and launch benefits that offer outsized, differentiated impact to its business customers.”

Headquartered in San Francisco, Brex delivers corporate cards, rewards and travel programmes to facilitate B2B payments.

Last month, the company announced using i2c payment platform to add flexibility in operations.
