Braintree, in collaboration with PayPal, has rolled out its new mobile payment offering known as ‘One Touch’ which will allow merchants and app developers to accept payments from millions of PayPal users.

The new offering, which eliminates the use of userIDs, passwords and card numbers, features improved security and fraud protection capabilities and allows users to pay online without worrying about safety concern.

The new payment technology that uses mobile phones data will also detect in real-time and confirm with the user when unusual activity occurs.

One Touch PayPal will allow shoppers to pay with essentially one touch in the apps of participating merchants. Merchants who want to use this payment option in their apps need to use Braintree’s new software development kit.

Currently, the One Touch PayPal payment is made available in beta in the US.

The company will launch the product for general public next month.
