Boku, a global direct carrier billing and mobile payments company, has joined forces with MT2, a technical billing platform in the Middle East, to enable mobile payments in Google Play app store for Zain Subscribers in Saudi Arabia.

The partnership will enable Zain subscribers to use one-tap mobile payments to purchase games and apps in the Google Play store using their phone number, without the need to fetch additional personal information or credit card data.

Zain CEO Hassan Kabbani said: "With Boku’s experience in carrier billing, our goal is to provide our subscribers with a frictionless checkout experience to make digital content purchases through Google Play."
