BNY Mellon treasury services has widened its
e-billing solution to include SMS text messaging.

Part of the company’s ClearTran Electronic
Payment Acceptance solution, clients can receive notifications to
their mobile devices via SMS text messaging.

“Operating efficiency, convenience and the
environmental benefits of paperless billing are combining to make
electronic billing increasingly attractive for our clients,” said
Susan Skerritt, executive vice president and head of business
strategy and market solutions for BNY Mellon Treasury Services.
“The ability to provide notifications, and eventually even
approvals, via SMS text messaging adds an important new dimension
to our bill presentment and payment processing solutions.”

As well as cash flow optimisation, the
treasury services help clients make payments around the world in
more than 100 currencies.
