BNP Paribas and its digital direct bank brand Hello bank! are offering mobile payment platform Apple Pay to its customers in France.

Apple Pay does not store the actual card numbers on the device or its server.

Rather, it allots a unique device account number that is stored on the device following encryption.

Apple Pay transactions are authenticated through a one-time unique dynamic security code.

The payment platform can be used by users of iPhone SE, iPhone 6 and later models, and Apple Watch.

Customers can carry out online shopping in apps and on websites accepting Apple Pay using the Touch ID or Face ID feature.
